My wedding Style and approach
I’ve spent over a decade photographing weddings across Cornwall and beyond, blending documentary storytelling with creative, quirky portraiture. I’m all about capturing real moments — the laughter, the glances, the tiny details — while also directing fun, natural portraits that reflect your personalities. My approach is relaxed and unobtrusive: I get to know you before the day, stay adaptable during the event, and craft images that feel timeless with a fresh, artistic edge.
Booking process
Initial enquiry: Send your date, venue and a few details about your plans. I’ll confirm availability and share my current packages and pricing.
Consultation: We’ll have a call or meet for coffee to talk timings, your must-have shots and the overall vibe you want. This is your chance to ask questions and see examples tailored to your wedding.
Secure your date: A signed contract and a deposit secure me for your day. I’ll send a wedding questionnaire later to gather specifics like family groupings and special moments.
Lead-up support: I’m available for venue advice, timeline input and any last-minute tweaks. I’ll create a shot list from your questionnaire and confirm timings a few weeks before the wedding.
Your wedding day: I arrive early, work unobtrusively, and capture both candid storytelling and creative portraits. I keep things calm, quick where needed and a little bit playful where it fits.
Delivery: You’ll receive a hand-edited selection of high-resolution images via an online gallery within the agreed timeframe, plus print and album options if chosen. Galleries include easy downloading and sharing for family and friends.
Aftercare: I’m happy to help with prints, albums or extra edits and I’ll check in to make sure you’re delighted with your photos.

No, there are no hidden costs. You get everything, edited delivered to your inbox. There are optional extras such as albums and USB sticks.

I offer 5 different Wedding packages, The Elopement, The Mini, The Mid-range The Premiere Package and the Top Line. Alll of which are available to book here. You can find more details on my Wedding Packages and Prices page. Various discounts are available in certain circumstances. For example, if you are getting married on a weekday or perhaps you’re eloping and it’s just the two of you. Do get in touch for a personal quotation.

The one thing that cannot be controlled is the weather, if pictures cannot be taken outside I will always find alternate locations to capture your day whatever the weather. As my Nan once said: "Bitta rain never hurt nobody" and I will ensure a bit of rain doesn’t spoil you precious memories.

Yes, I find that working alone gives me a better opportunity to blend in. My style is very much about capturing unaware moments. If you have requirements that need more than one photographer, I have a list of trusted Wedding Photographers I can call upon if needed.

Once you have booked me for your wedding, I will ensure that your day runs smoothly. It’s my responsibility as a photographer to capture every element of your day. If your wedding is running late you have no need to worry, I will be there for as long as you need me to be.

I don't request a meal, however if it is a long day and one is offered I will accept it with thanks and am happy to eat on my own between shots.

Yes, I am fully covered. All my kit is covered and I am also fully insured for Public Liability. This is essential when working in the Wedding Industry.

I take your wedding very seriously, this has never happened so far however as a professional I am always prepared for technical problems, I arrive with two cameras, also a backup camera should I need it and plenty of spare kit.

Yes, it is your day and I will do my utmost to ensure you get all the photographs you want and am happy to work to your suggestions and requests. Any special requirements can be noted when we meet prior to your wedding day. I will make sure time is allocated to capture any images that are important to you to make your memories of your day complete.
